Plug In to the Power Source

This month I am participating in the January Blogher NaBloPoMo . The theme this month is Energy. Each day there is a writing prompt. I will attempt to focus on the prompt each day. Some days this month I may have two posts…sometimes my life doesn’t follow a prompt.
Anywho, here we go!

From where do you draw your energy?

28 Have you not known?

Have you not heard?

The everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth,

Neither faints nor is weary.

His understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives power to the weak,

And to those who have no might He increases strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

And the young men shall utterly fall,

31 But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

My life is crazy, hectic, stressful, and exhausting, and that’s just this hour today! So, where do I get the energy to keep up? How do I find the energy to accomplish what needs to get done?

I plug in to the Power Source.

Haven’t you heard? He NEVER gets tired. (v. 28) He gives POWER to the weak and STRENGTH to those who have no might. (v. 29)

Even people who are young will become faint and weary. They, too, will eventually fall. (v. 30)

But regardless of age or physical shape, those who wait upon the Lord shall have their strength renewed, shall mount up on wings like eagles, shall run and not grow weary, shall walk and not faint. (v. 31)

So, where do I draw my energy from? I draw my energy from God Himself, the Giver of Life, the ultimate Power Source, the Everlasting Father.

Are you feeling worn out? Weary? Like you have nothing left to give? Plug in to God. He is the only true Source of energy. He will fill you to overflowing! You will run, and not grow weary!!!
